Where does the money that I am receiving for SSI or SSDI actually come from?

One question asked frequently in office about the Social Security Administration (SSA) on a daily basis is "Where does the money that I am receiving for SSI or SSDI actually come from?"

Today, I want to answer that question for anyone who has not had the chance to seek wise council from an attorney, but are curious about the benefits you are ENTITLED to receive.

Every week you work 40 hours. You work, work, work, work, until you have reached the level of success that you want to achieve. You spend you whole life working to save up for a nice retirement, and a little spending money to have fun with.

One thing that is commonly overlooked everytime you get a paycheck, though, is where your money goes when you give part of your hard earned cash back over to the government. Well, one way is by paying taxes into Social Security every time you get a paycheck. If you pay taxes at all, you give money to social security.... but what does that actually do for you?

Well, everytime you give part of your paycheck to the government, you are earning credit. Overtime as you receive more paychecks, and that credit collects, the amount you have available grows. So what will this actually do for you if you need to draw from your SS? When you want to draw from the SS you have been putting away over the years, you file a SSI or SSDI claim, and that is where we come in to help.

They file your claim, talk with the SSA, schedule hearings, doctors appointments, help you get the money you deserve from the taxes you have been paying, and also much more. An attorney's job is to make your life easy, and do all the work for you.

Social Security and Disability (SSDI) as well as Social Security Insurance claims (SSI) approval rates vary per judge, but one thing you must know is that there is no real skill in getting in front of the right judge. You will actually be assigned a judge, and all you can do is hope that you (or you and your experience attorney) have sufficient evident to proove your case!

Mr. Keener has been practicing this type of law for 25 years now, and has much experience in front of the Judges that decide whether you will receive your benefits or not. He has a team of legal assistants with knowledge in the area of Social Security, and together they have helped over 250 people just this year alone!

Could you use the extra check every month, and/or do you feel like you deserve compensation for the time lost because of a illness that has kept you from working or enjoying your every day life?
